Niho Kozuru descends from a family of clay artists active in Fukuoka, Japan for many generations. Currently working in Boston, MA., Kozuru received her BFA from the Parsons School of Design in New York, NY, and her MFA from University of Hawaii, Honolulu. She has exhibited at galleries and museums nationally and internationally including at the ICA/Boston and the Fukuoka City Art Museum. Kozuru has been awarded numerous grants and fellowships, including the Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship. Kozuru’s work has been included in many permanent collections, including the deCordova Sculpture Park + Museum, the Sheldon Museum of Art, the Danforth Museum of Art, Fuller Craft Museum and Fidelity Investments.
