ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shelley Reed (b. 1958, Westbury, NY) lives in Boston, MA. She is a recipient of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts Maud Morgan Award and two Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grants, as well as a Traveling Fellowship from the SMFA, Boston. Her work has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums and can be found in public and private collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, IL, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, WY, the Columbia Museum of Art, SC, Wellington Management Company, Fidelity Investment Corporation, as well as New England institutions including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Rose Art Museum, the Danforth Museum, the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, and Bank of Boston.
Shelley is represented by Danese/Corey and the Sears-Peyton Gallery, both in New York City.
